BA LLB, University of Cape Town

I was born and bred in Bloemfontein, South Africa and qualified as an attorney in 1992, having graduated at the University of Cape Town. I joined Maurice Phillips | Wisenberg in 2000.

I specialise in dispute resolution and specifically in relation to commercial, property and construction-related disputes through the courts and through arbitration. I also have a keen interest and experience in heritage-related disputes.

I was a part-time lecturer for approximately 10 years for LLB students and am currently a member of the Ministerial Appeal Tribunal, Ministry of Cultural Affairs & Sport, Western Cape Government.

I am an arbitrator and member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa).

Lastly, I’m the 3rd generation of attorneys in my family, following in my father and grandfather's footsteps.
